The public is invited to attending the Serving Our Sisters Health Expo on Saturday, March 14 at the Verdant Community Wellness Center.
The free community event, formerly known as the Women of Color Health and Beauty Fair, will be from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The expo will help bring health, safety and community resources to underserved women of color and their families in the community.
At the expo, the focus is on ensuring that people in the community receive preventive care and screenings, health and safety information, linkage to community resources, and access to free or low-cost health insurance programs they may qualify for.
While all are welcome, the expo will continue to reach out especially to women of color and their families. Health screenings, presentations, and information will be provided.
The Verdant Community Wellness Center is located at 4710 196th St. SW., Lynnwood
