The Mountlake Terrace Hawkeye recently sat down with State Senator Rosemary McAuliffe (1st Legislative District) to talk about the current education funding crisis in Washington state. McAuliffe is a ranking member on the Senate Early Education and K-12 Education Committee and is a member of the Senate Higher Education Committee. McAuliffe spoke on several topics in education including the McCleary v. Washington decision, Initiative 1351 and the soaring costs of college education.
