Brandon Richards of Seattle Tae Kwon Do let us know that they are teaming up with Union Gospel Mission to collect food for those in need:
During the month of November, Seattle Tae Kwon Do located at 22803 44th Ave. West in Mountlake Terrace, will be working with the Union Gospel Mission to help those in need this holiday season. The Union Gospel Mission offers food/programs and services for anyone who has lost hope. They offer food for the hungry, shelter for those exposed to the elements, clothing for the cold and healthcare for the sick. During the month of November, we will have a red barrel of hope located at the front endurance of the school. It is our hope that Mountlake Terrace residents can drop off non-perishable food for the Union Gospel Mission. Our goal is to fill the entire barrel full of food for the needy. We are all blessed in so many ways, and this is just one way for us to give back and give thanks for all that we have. I would like to encourage everyone to try to bring in a few cans during the month of November. Thank you for caring for others and joining with Seattle Tae Kwon Do in our efforts to make a difference.
Sincerely,
Brandon Richards
