The Mountlake Terrace Senior Center’s Ballinger Treasures Swap-n-Shop drew shoppers looking for art, crafts, collectibles and everything in between on Saturday at Ballinger Park

Vendor Cassandra Baines lives in Mountlake Terrace so Saturday’s swap meet was the perfect location to set up shop. Baines sells her items at various events throughout the community.

The Freewheelers Square Dance Club also had a booth and was looking for people interested in square dancing. The club will be starting new dance classes at the Mountlake Terrace Senior Center on Oct. 22. Classes will be from 7-9 p.m. The caller/teacher is Dennis “Spyder” Webb. Singles and couples are welcome as are beginners.

“It’s physical as well as mental exercise,” Freewheelers Square Dance Club member M.B. Webb said of square dancing.

“It really keeps your mind active,” added member Dwight Koch.

For more information on the Freelwheelers Square Dance Club call Trisha at 206-523-1769 or email: seattlesquare@aol.com
