Reminder: Schools foundation, MOD Pizza raising money for books

The Foundamod-pizza-logo-retination for Edmonds School District has teamed up with MOD Pizza to “Raise Money for Books,” a new promotional campaign as part of the Foundation’s Read Across America event.

Running through June 1, dine at MOD Pizza’s Lynnwood locations, and when you bring in your special MOD Pizza bookmark, 15 percent of your tab will be donated to the foundation. Proceeds will be used to purchase library books for the Edmonds School District. Bookmarks can be found on the Foundation’s home page and event page.

“We are thrilled to help raise money for new books for the Edmonds School District,” said Ally Svenson, co-founder of MOD Pizza. “Through events like this, we are able to ‘Spread MODness every day — which is what we define as the ripple effect of simply doing the right thing.”

MOD Pizza is located at Lynnwood Crossing, 196th Street Southwest and Highway 99, and at 2902 164th St. S.W.
