Scene in MLT: Paving job for Library parking lot

Work crews spent Tuesday paving the newly-rebuilt and reconfigured parking lot outside the Mountlake Terrace Library. The parking lot has been closed since January as the city had built an underground stormwater detention facility at the site. A portion of 58th Avenue West was closed on Tuesday due to the work, and is expected to be affected again on Wednesday. A detour route is marked for drivers in the area; the library is open regular hours, with parking available in a lot to the east of 58th Avenue West. (Photo by Doug Petrowski)
