The newly-reconfigured parking lot at the Mountlake Terrace Library reopened this week after a four-month closure while crews built an underground stormwater infiltration facility at the site. The lot includes an increase in the total number of parking spots in comparison to the old lot. City officials say that the new stormwater facility will provide downstream flood control and treatment for storm runoff throughout the Town Center District. The $1.079 million project was paid for with money from the city’s Stormwater Fund. (Photos by Doug Petrowski)
