Mountlake Terrace High School basketball players and alumni, along with family and friends, jammed the MTHS gym Tuesday night for Terrace Jam Session XX, an annual evening of fun, music, contests and giveaways. A tip-off for the 2013-14 high school basketball season, this year’s Jam Session featured scrimmages for not only the MTHS boys and girls basketball squads but also a separate game for alumni.
The event was sponsored by the Hawkeye, MLTnews, Sound Music Publications, Sorelli Pizza, Fitness 19, A-Team Driving School and HBN/Hawk TV.
During the event, MLTnews Publisher Teresa Wippel presented Hawkeye editor Nick Fiorillo with a $700 donation, collected from readers and matched by MLTnews, to help fund the Hawkeye staff’s trip to Boston earlier this month.
