Scene in MLT: Dirt does double duty

Work crews are busy utilizing some of the excess dirt excavated from the regional stormwater facility construction site in Mountlake Terrace to fill in a city service road that was badly needed of repairs. The service road, in the 22500 block of 52nd Avenue West and just east of the Mountlake Terrace dog park, is used by city public works, parks and property maintenance staff. Construction of the stormwater facility, located in front of the Mountlake Terrace Library at 23300-58th Avenue West, is expected to be completed this summer.
