While the Seattle Seahawks were playing, Mother Nature performed a show of her own, photographer David Carlos notes. These are some scenes this afternoon at Lake Ballinger Park in Mountlake Terrace. By the way, the Seahawks won over the Arizona Cardinals, 27-24.

Beautiful shots! I live across from the lake, and never tire of the serene beauty of the lake and park. May it ever remain a peaceful, natural haven for the bald eagle that perches in the tree tops, the herons, rabbits, myriad bird species and yes, even coyotes and the sometimes pesky geese! A microcosm of nature in this hidden gem within our community.
