Scene in MLT: A lovely evening for National Night Out

About a thousand residents enjoyed a beautiful summer evening of music, bouncy houses, free food, face painting and more during the City of Mountlake Terrace’s annual National Night Out Against Crime Tuesday at Evergreen Playfield Complex.

The mission for the annual event is to both promote police/community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to improve public safety.

  1. What a great event! I hung out with the MLT Libarians at their Library table, representing the Friends of the MLT Library group. It was so much fun, seeing kids make duct tape bookmarks (another use for duct tape) and handing out free books to kids. The guy doing the caricature drawings was fantastic. Thank you MLT!
