While many of the entries into the second annual Scarecrow Festival are based in Edmonds, the contest actually is open to all in South Snohomish County.
Sponsored by the Edmonds-South Snohomish County Historical Society and Museum, the contest is a celebration of family friendly, handmade scarecrows exhibited throughout Edmonds and South Snohomish County.
You still have a few days if you want to enter a scarecrow in the contest. The deadline for entries is Wednesday, Oct. 15 and online voting will be Oct. 16-Nov. 1.
For more information, including entry information, see: www.historicedmonds.org and click on the 2nd annual Scarecrow Festival tab.
