A program centered around the Salem Witch Trials will be presented by Kent Morgan at the Sno-Isle Genealogical Society meeting on Wed. Nov. 2.
The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with the program beginning at 7 p.m. at the Family History Building, located at 22015 48th Ave. W. in Mountlake Terrace.
Morgan is a life enrichment speaker who loves to delve into history. This free program will explain the Salem Witch Trials, which were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts between Feb. 1692 and May 1693. Guests are welcome.
Free Beginning Genealogy classes are offered regularly by Sno-Isle Genealogical Society. This week, the meeting is on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 10-11 a.m. at the genealogy research library, located at 19827 Poplar Way, Heritage Park in Lynnwood.
