School administrators believe there is no connection to a broken window found outside the office of Mountlake Terrace High School Principal Greg Schwab on Monday and an assault on a student at the school last week.
Campus security cameras caught glimpses of figures outside the school Saturday around 1:30 a.m., but could not provide a clear picture of the individual responsible for a rock thrown through the window of Principal Schwab.
“I was a little surprised to walk into my office this morning and see a grapefruit-sized rock on the floor with glass all around it,” Schwab said on Monday.
Mountlake Terrace High School has nine motion-sensor security cameras operating around its campus. Although the school has experienced vandalism on its grounds, it is the first time Schwab can remember having a rock thrown through his office window.
