Students from Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace high schools competed at the FIRST Robotics Competition — Seattle Regional at the Qwest Field Event Center March 18-19.

These teams use science, technology, engineering, and math (known as STEM) to build robots that compete in arena events against other teams’ robots. The team from MTHS made it to the finals and received the Entrepreneurship Award sponsored by Kleiner Perkins Caulfield and Byers. In addition to the team award, MTHS senior Tyler Baker won the FIRST Dean’s List Finalist Award. Congratulations to these teams for their hard work and accomplishments!
