Parents and/or guardians of Edmonds School District students are encouraged to attend a reproductive health and disease prevention night Thursday, Nov. 7.
During the evening, parents can learn about the Reproductive Health and Disease Prevention Curriculum, which is taught in grades 5-12. The event will take place from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Educational Services Center, 20420 68th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.
Families can review the complete Family Life and Sexual Health (FLASH)/KNOW curricula and get answers to their questions. There will be health teachers, classroom teachers and a school nurse present to help answer questions about sexual reproduction lessons, HIV/AIDS lessons and puberty lessons, which are all a part of the curriculum.
