Reminder: Youth volunteers needed for MLK Day of Service

MLK Service

Teens looking to give back to their community are invited to come together on Monday, Jan. 18 to work on several community projects.

For example, they can make posters for Meadowdale Elementary School, write letters for the Lynnwood Food Bank and help rehabilitate a trail at the Lynnwood Golf Course.

It’s all a part of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service, on Jan. 18 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. All youth aged 14-18 are invited to attend.

Volunteers will meet at Prestige Care, located at 21008 76th Avenue West in Edmonds. For more information, visit the City of Lynnwood’s website, or contact Naomi Yakawich at 406-794-2847 or by email.
