Sno-Isle Libraries is recruiting 14- to 18-year-olds to become teen ambassadors.

Teem ambassadors will promote the library through its online channels, report on library events and represent Sno-Isle Libraries at school events. They will also have opportunities to review books, movies and music as well as assist with the Explore Summer kids program.

Teen ambassadors are expected to make a one-year commitment, from August 2016 to August 2017, which includes volunteering for a two-hour shift at least once a month. The ambassadorship can be renewed every year until the teen turns 19 or graduates from high school.

Sno-Isle Libraries says it hopes to increase teen voices in local libraries through the ambassador program.

Interested teens can apply by clicking here. Applications are due on Thursday, June 30. Interviews will be scheduled in July with training beginning in August.
