Reminder: Free Plant Exchange and Garden Event coming to Terrace

indexelement51The Mountlake Terrace Business Association will host a free Plant Exchange and Garden Event on April 30.

During the event, there will be educational talks on building a garden starting at 11 a.m. Attendees will learn how to start a garden, grow plants in pots, as well as how to grow microgreens and medicinal plants.

There will also be a Kids’ Corner, where children will be able to plant a seed and take it home to start their own garden.

Event organizers are still seeking vendors for the event. Vendor tables cost $15 each. More information can be found by clicking here. Vendor applications are due by April 23.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lot next to Espresso Break on the corner of 232nd Street Southwest and 56th Avenue West in Mountlake Terrace. It is free and open to the public on April 30.
