Two things going on tonight in Mountlake Terrace: the weekly farmer’s market and the first of weekly car shows put on by the Red Onion.
Attendance at the farmer’s market has slowing been growing and I hear this week the Mountlake Terrace High School Jazz Band will be playing at the market. The farmer’s market is located in front of the library on 58th Ave W.
Last summer the Red Onion put on car shows every week in August. This year their plan is to put on a car show every Thursday for the entire summer from 4-7 pm. The first, tonight, will be a part of their 1st Birthday Bash which will last all weekend.
The Red Onion is a great addition to the eating places we are lucky to have in MLT. Not only thatrnbut LuRae and Seaun are just super people. They have made us feel welcome from the first timernwe visited last year after they opened. They also support local places like youth groups, churchesrnand the MLT Senior center by letting us get in the way there and serve our peers. Happy Birthdayrnour dear friends.
