If part of your New Year’s tradition is “Out with the Old,” then Goodwill and Mountlake Terrace High School want to help you out.
Goodwill will be collecting clothing and other household items from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 10 at Mountlake Terrace High School. Parents will be on hand to accept donations.
When you donate to Goodwill you receive a tax deduction and the profits provide education for job placement. The Mountlake Terrace High School PTSA receives a donation from Goodwill towards its mission of supporting students.
Why do you have an announcement about something that happened on the TENTH in a article dated the ELEVENTH. I read your paper everyday, and that would have been great info to have on the tenth when I could have donated to the event!
Our apologies. We did run the original announcement about the Goodwill event at Mountlake Terrace High School on Dec. 31. In the future, we will try to run reminder announcements earlier. This particular reminder was published on Jan. 10, the day of the event.
