Red Onion Burgers is hosting an all day Dining 4 Dollars event on Tuesday, July 12 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. to benefit the Dallas Police Department after a shooting last week killed five Dallas officers.
Red Onion Burgers will donate 20 percent of all sales, 100 percent of all tips and money generated through the event’s raffles, celebrity lock ups and more.
Mountlake Terrace Police Chief Greg Wilson and Mountlake Terrace City Manager Scott Hugill will be at Red Onion Burgers, making milkshakes. Organizers will bring music and other activities, but more volunteers are needed to scoop ice cream and bus tables, among other duties. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Seaun Richards at 425-218-5996.
“Most of all we want you to share this event and help us write the biggest check we have every written,” Red Onion Burgers owner Seaun Richards said in the event’s Facebook post. “Our hearts go out to the families of the victims in Dallas.”
Red Onion Burgers is located at 21005 44th Ave. W., Ste. 101 in Mountlake Terrace. Their phone number is 425-678-8340. For more information about the event, click here.
In the past, Red Onion Burgers has donated more than $10,000 toward the Oso mudslide victims and $10,000 toward victims of the Chelan fires.
Thank you for being a true part of the community by getting personally involved.
