On Tuesday, February 23, 2010 as part of the national Spay Day campaign, PAWS, along with shelter partners and local veterinary clinics in Snohomish, King, Island and Skagit counties will offer low-cost spay and neuter surgeries. PAWs says that this annual effort helps end the suffering of unwanted and homeless animals in our community by preventing unplanned litters. They add that spaying and neutering is good for the community and a great way to help our animal friends’ live longer, healthier lives.
A veterinary clinic in Mountlake Terrace that is taking part in PAWS Spay Day is Animal Care Center, located at 21911 64th Ave W. Animal Care Center is offering the low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for two additional days as well. You can make an appointment for February 22-24 by calling Animal Care Center at (425) 778-6363. Let them know you are calling about the spay day. Spays and neuters will run you $80 for dogs and $40 for cats. In addition, Animal Care Center is offering discounts on microchipping on the same days.
You can find more information about Animal Care Center on their website and more info about the PAWS spay day at PAWS.org.
Speaking of spaying and neutering, this place has the best prices for doing this. The vet is awesome. It’s a no-nonsense place, they don’t even use a computer: they just keep your information on little cards and contact you for shot information.
