Registration is now underway for the 17th Annual Boys & Girls Summer Basketball Camp conducted by the City of Mountlake Terrace Recreation & Parks Department and the basketball programs of Mountlake Terrace High School. The camp is scheduled for June 23-25 at MTHS.
The camp is for youth ages 7-15 and will include coaching in basketball fundamentals, ball handling, shooting, passing, rebounding, defensive drills and scrimmages. Campers will also learn about conditioning, nutrition, and various other subjects from guest speakers. In addition, each camper will receive a T-shirt and basketball.
Cost for the three-day camp is $55 for Mountlake Terrace residents, $60 for non-residents. Campers can register at the Mountlake Terrace Recreation Pavilion, 5303-228th St. S.W., or by mail by June 18; early registration is recommended as the camp often fills to capacity.
