Registration now open for girls beginner hockey classes

Poster2Registration is now open for girls’ beginner hockey classes through the Western Washington Female Hockey Association.

Girls ages 4-12 in the Edmonds, Mountlake Terrace, Lynnwood and Shoreline areas are invited to learn to skate and play ice hockey. No skating experience required.

Classes are held every Sunday from 10:15-11:15 a.m. at Highland Ice Arena in Shoreline starting Jan. 24. The program runs for 12 weeks for $185, plus USA Hockey membership registration/insurance. Participants must provide their own equipment (or rent); all those registering will receive a free Washington Wild hockey jersey and pair of hockey socks.

WWFHA is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization and is the only all-girl ice hockey association in Washington State. Our mission is to provide girls’ an opportunity to play ice hockey recreationally or competitively with other girls.
