Do you know a child that wants to unleash their inner-cheerleader? Registrations are now being accepted for the Mountlake Terrace High School Kids Cheer Clinic on Friday, Feb. 6.

Participants in the two-hour clinic will learn basic motion, jump and dance techniques from the MTHS cheer squad, then join the high school team in a performance at that night’s Mountlake Terrace Hawks boys home basketball game against the Meadowdale Mavericks. Clinic participants will also receive a bow, pom-poms, a photo with the MTHS cheer squad and a pizza dinner.

The 5-7 p.m. clinic is open to kindergarteners through eighth graders; cost is $40 if registered by Feb. 2, $50 the week of the event. Participants will also receive free admission to that night’s MTHS-Meadowdale basketball game.
