The Mountlake Terrace High School student newspaper staff will be the beneficiaries of the next Terrific Tuesday fundraiser at the Red Onion Burgers Restaurant.
On Tuesday, April 9, 20 percent of sales and 50 percent of credit card tips at Red Onion Burgers between 5-8 p.m. will go to student journalists of the Hawkeye. Funds raised will be used to help about 30 students attend a national scholastic journalism convention in San Francisco later this month.
Red Onion Burgers was named on Friday as having one of the top five burgers in the Puget Sound area in a Facebook poll conducted by KING 5 television’s Jesse Jones.
Red Onion Burgers is located at 21005-44th Ave. W., Suite 101, in Mountlake Terrace.
