Are you ready for the big earthquake or major power outage? The American Red Cross will be leading an interactive discussion to help prepare residents of south Snohomish County for the next local disaster.
The special presentation is scheduled to take place on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Brier Church, 22730 Brier Road. The event is free of charge.
Some of the information to be presented at the 90-minute meeting will include fire safety tips, what to do during an earthquake, necessary items for a disaster kit, planning escape routes, and why and how to establish an out-of-area contact.
