The recent tragedy in Marysville and other demands on the blood supply have prompted the Puget Sound Blood Center to issue a call for eligible donors to schedule an appointment this week.
The center reports that several blood types and its supply of platelets been impacted by recent events.
The Puget Sound Blood Center has a location in Lynnwood at 19723 Highway 99, Suite F.
