The Mountlake Terrace Hawks finished third and the Meadowdale Mavericks placed fourth as Wesco League teams dominated the 2016 Lynden Invitational wrestling meet held Saturday at Lynden High School.

Three Mavericks wrestlers won their weight divisions while the Hawks placed six wrestlers in the top three of six different weight classes on Saturday..

Meadowdale weight division champions were Adrian Guzman (120 pound), Beck Millet (126 pound) and Liam Ball (182 pound). Mountlake Terrace top finishers were Pavel Oliferovskiy, winner of the 145 pound class; Chaplyn Mack, champion in the 160 pound class, Gene An, runner-up in 126 pound class; Eric Breznen, runner-up in the 195-pound class; Lex Davis, third in the 182 pound class; and Ilai Wilson, third in the 285 pound weight class.

Sixteen teams competed in the invitational meet; Wesco League 3A power Glacier Peak won the team title with 182 points.
