Swimmers from Mountlake Terrace, Meadowdale and Edmonds-Woodway high schools will seek glory and medals this week at the WIAA State Girls Swimming & Diving Championships taking place at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.

The event is set for Friday and Saturday, Nov. 15 and 16. Terrace swimmers will compete in the 1A/2A prelim races beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday while the swimmers from Meadowdale and E-W will hit the pool at 7 p.m. in the 3A prelims.

Swimmers will need to post times among the top 16 competitors in their Friday prelim races to qualify for the finals on Saturday.
