Mountlake Terrace had no answer to Shorewood junior Taryn Shelley on Tuesday as the T-Bird post player scored 24 points in a 68-30 victory over the Hawks in the regular season finale for both teams.

The T-Birds were never challenged in the Wesco League South Conference matchup played at Shorewood High School as the hosts outscored Terrace 17-2 in the first quarter and went on to the easy victory.

The Hawks were led in scoring by freshman Nohea Morrison, who scored 10 points.

Terrace finished the 2015-2016 season with an overall record of 2-18 and went winless in Wesco League division play. The team has gone 1-36 over the past two years after a record-setting season in 2013-2014, when the team finished 18-6 and qualified for the regional round of the WIAA 3A Girls Basketball State Tournament.
