The Mountlake Terrace Hawks were shut out by the visiting Mountain View Mighty Thunder 26-0 in a non-league contest played Friday at Edmonds Stadium.
Friday’s game was just the second time since 2013 that Terrace has been kept off the scoreboard by an opponent.
The contest with Mountain View — a 3A member of the Greater St. Helens League from Vancouver — was arranged after Terrace missed out on earning a spot in the 2A district playoffs.
Friday’s loss dropped the Hawks’ overall record to 3-5. Terrace will close out its 2019 season with a matchup against the Lynnwood Royals on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Edmonds Stadium; kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
