In a match delayed one day due to weather, the Mountlake Terrace Hawks fell to the Shorewood T-Birds 6-1 in Wesco League South Conference action on Wednesday.
Jeremy Ansdell was victorious in the no. 1 singles match to gain the team’s only win; Ansdell defeated Gunnar Thorstenson 6-4, 7-5. Ansdell remains undefeated this season in singles matches.
The Hawks are scheduled to face the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors on Thursday, Oct. 6, at Edmonds-Woodway High School, weather permitting.
