The Mountlake Terrace Hawks boys soccer team suffered their worst defeat of the 2016 season as they fell 4-0 Tuesday to the Glacier Peak Grizzlies at Glacier Peak High School.
The Grizzlies, undefeated in 3A Wesco League play this season, showed why they belong at the top of the league standings as they played the Hawks on Tuesday. In their five league matches so far this year, Glacier Peak has outscored their opponents 19-1.
Things don’t get much easier for Terrace as the squad must travel to Lynnwood High School to clash with the Royals on Friday, April 15.
In other Terrace sports news from Tuesday, both the baseball squad and the girls tennis team got rained out. The Hawk girls tennis team had been slated to host Meadowdale on Tuesday; that match has now been re-scheduled for Thursday, April 14, at Mountlake Terrace High School.
