Following a loss to Glacier Peak earlier in the week in which it scored only 33 points, the Mountlake Terrace Hawks boys basketball team struggled again on offense Friday night, scoring just 32 points and falling to the Shorecrest Scots 70-32 at Shorecrest High School.
The 38-point loss was the biggest margin of defeat for Terrace this season.
Just one Hawk reached double figures in scoring, the 10 points scored by senior Ryan Lacasse. The Scots were led by the 19 points of Drew Magaoay; Philip Pepple, with a big fourth quarter, tallied 16 points while Brantle Harris added 12 points for Shorecrest.
The defeat dropped the Hawks Wesco 3A South record to 1-3, 3-8 overall and allowed Shorecrest to jump ahead of Terrace in the league’s South 3A with a 2-2, 6-5 record.
