
The Mountlake Terrace Hawks stayed close to the high-flying Cascade Bruins for three quarters, but were outscored 22-10 in the fourth quarter and eventually succumbed to the Wesco 4A favorites 58-44 in a non-league boys basketball clash Saturday at Mountlake Terrace High School.

Cascade, picked by most league coaches to win the Wesco 4A title this season, were led by the 22 points of senior Drew Magaoay; Isaiah Gotell contributed 12 points while Cameron McGrath added 10 points for the Bruins.
The Bruins are 6-0 so far this season, with an average margin of victory of more than 16 points in those six wins.

Senior Derek Anyimah was the only Hawk to score in double figures Saturday with 13 points.
Terrace will try to get back into the win column on Tuesday, Dec. 15, when they host the Arlington Eagles; tip-off at Mountlake Terrace High School is set for 7:15 p.m.
