Note change of location for Saturday’s Lynnwood girls game.

Basketball fans can get their fill of local prep action this week as regional play in the state high school playoffs take place on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 26-27.

The Lynnwood Royals girls basketball team was originally scheduled to play at Mountlake Terrace High School Saturday, but that game has been moved to Everett Community College. Edmonds-Woodway Warriors boys will still play at MTHS.

The Mountlake Terrace Hawks boys team will travel to Bellevue College on Saturday for their regional matchup; the Edmonds-Woodway Warrior girls will have to trek to Puyallup High School on Friday for their regional game.

All the games in the regional round are loser-out contests with the winners moving on to the WIAA 3A Boys and Girls Basketball Tournaments March 3-5 at the Tacoma Dome.

Admission to any of the regional game sites is $11 for adults, $8 for students with ASB card, seniors and children.
