Behind the pitching of senior Brady Edwards, the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors shut out the Mountlake Terrace Hawks 7-0 Wednesday in the second game of the three-game Wesco League South Conference series being played this week.
Edwards threw a complete game two-hitter with six strikeouts to earn the victory for the Warriors.
E-W pounded out 12 hits against three Hawk pitchers in the match-up. Reid Whitson, Dominic Marinez and Dustin Chartrand each picked up two hits while Garrison Krohn had three RBIs in the victory.
The Hawks and Warriors will meet in the rubber game of their series on Friday, April 8, at Mountlake Terrace High School. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
