Police Request Public’s Help in Locating Hit and Run Driver

You may remember a couple weeks ago when a man was hit and injured by a black SUV in a hit and run accident in front of his daughter. Police are now asking for help from the public in locating the hit and run driver:

On Tuesday, July 13 at 9:53 p.m., a pedestrian was struck by a hit and run driver while walking his dog along the south side of 238th Street SW at 54th Avenue SW in Mountlake Terrace. The City of Mountlake Terrace Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver.

The victim’s daughter, who witnessed the accident, said her father was struck from behind by a full size, 4-door, black truck. She was unable to obtain make, model or license plate number. The vehicle’s passenger-side mirror was damaged in the collision.

The victim sustained a concussion and foot injury.

Anyone with information should contact Officer Eric Jones at (425) 670-8260.
