Mountlake Terrace police are investigating a hit-and-run Thursday afternoon in which a black 700 series BMW ended up in a ditch next to the Starlight condominiums at 215th Street Southwest and 50th Avenue West. Neighbors say the driver fled following the crash, which took out a Comcast cable box.
According to Commander Doug Hanson, MLT police spokesman, officers did try tracking the driver with a K-9 unit without success. “There were no injuries and the investigation is ongoing,” he said.
Officers from Brier, Lynnwood and Edmonds police departments assisted with the call, Hanson said.
