The Mountlake Terrace Planning Commission is scheduled to receive a briefing on the planning process and current status of the master site plan for Ballinger Park at Monday’s meeting.
The briefing will include an overview of the community involvement, development of park element priorities, alternative design concepts and the evolution of the preferred plan. The presentation will include a slide show prepared by the park master plan consultant, The Berger Partnership for the July 14 community meeting.
The Commission also will be given an introduction to proposed updates to Phase I of the Transportation Code. Since the Transportation Code became effective in 2012, City staff has had an opportunity to apply its provisions to public and private development projects. As a result of such applications, staff has identified sections of the code that would benefit from clean up, reorganization and/or text changes.
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace Interim City Hall, 6100 219th St. SW., Suite 220, second floor.
