An amendment to the Mountlake Terrace Municipal Code to update the Subdivision Regulations Code to make it consistent with state law will be considered at a Public Hearing of the Planning Commission on Feb. 9.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace Interim City Hall, 6100 219th Street SW, Suite 220, second floor.
The Subdivision Code Update is needed to deal with changes in state subdivision laws and developments in case law affecting the decision-making process such as extended timeframes for the filing of final plats.
After the Feb. 9 public hearing, the Planning Commission will make a recommendation about the proposed amendment. The item is scheduled for City Council’s Work Session review on Feb. 12 and a public hearing before the City Council tentatively scheduled for Feb. 17.
