MLTnews presents the Forever Home Dog of the Week, Gabe, a 1-year-old chocolate lab/vizla mix. Gabe was found on the side of the road near Ocean Shores after being hit by a car at four months old and left for dead. Gabe had bowel surgery. He’s fully recovered now and is full of puppy energy.
Gabe LOVES to play with other dogs of all sizes. He loves squeaky toys, tug-of-war, going to the beach. He also loves to snuggle with his people, and he absolutely adores kids. He has good house manners, is potty trained and knows basic commands (i.e. sit, down, stay, and walking on a leash) and is crate trained.
Gabe requires a special kibble to help him absorb nutrients and medication due to his bowel surgery and will need this for the rest of his life. He takes his medication very well and has a good appetite.
Gabe is neutered, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. His adoption fee is $200.
If you are interested in adopting Gabe, here’s the process:
- Fill out the Adoption Application and email it to info@foreverhomedogrescue.org
- Your application will be screened and you will receive a phone call with more information.
- A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet.
- Pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog’s health records.
