The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office said Tuesday there hasn’t been an update in the case of a possible kidnapping near Lynnwood that was reported Monday afternoon.

The suspect and victim have not yet been identified.

Witnesses told deputies they saw a blonde woman pushed into a Ford Explorer at 5:49 p.m. Monday near the intersection of Larch Way and Poplar Way. The Ford Explorer reportedly stopped alongside her and shoved her in a driver side door before driving off. It eventually turned to head south on 28th Avenue West.

Investigators were able to determine that the possible victim was at the Albertson’s in Mountlake Terrace, located at 4301 212th St. SW. about 20 minutes before the incident, which happened about a half mile east of the store. They got  photo of her off the grocery store’s surveillance system.

Surveillance footage shows her arriving at the store in the suspected vehicle. She later leaves the store and drives away in the same vehicle. She doesn’t appear to have anyone with her at the store and she appears to be alone in the vehicle.

The male is described as white or light-skinned hispanic. He is 5-foot-9 with a light to medium build and was last seen wearing a dark gray beanie.

The woman has long blonde hair. She was seen wearing a white jacket with fur around the hood.

Witnesses told deputies they could not see any license plates on the Ford Explorer.
