As the Fourth of July approaches, a reminder from the Edmonds School District that fireworks are banned on all school district properties. Staff will be patrolling properties but the district asks the public to call 911 if they see any kind of firework activity.
This is a particularly timely reminder given the brush fire at Meadowdale High School Thursday night, caused by fireworks.
