Next ‘Civic Center 101’ presentation at library Tuesday

With a $25 million municipal bond measure for a new civic center going back before voters in April, the City of Mountlake Terrace is again offering a multimedia presentation about the civic center proposal to residents. The presentation includes a history of civic facilities in Mountlake Terrace, facts and figures about the upcoming bond measure, a photo tour of the current police station, and an opportunity to provide input or ask questions of city officials.

The next “Civic Center 101” presentation is set for Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2 p.m. at the Mountlake Terrace Library for members and guests of the Mountlake Terrace Senior Group. The general public is also invited to attend. Additional presentations are scheduled for February and March.

For any individuals or groups interested in scheduling a “Civic Center 101” presentation, contact Community Relations Director/City Clerk Virginia Olsen at civiccenter@ci.mlt.wa.us or at 425-744-6206.
