The Tour de Terrace website, promoting Mountlake Terrace’s Seafair-sanctioned community festival, has launched a brand-new version in time for this year’s festivities.

The site, which can be viewed www.tourdeterrace.org , was designed by Mountlake Terrace web developer Richard Huffman and features the work of local photographer Mark Hopkins.

The site was specifically designed to be viewable on both large computer screens and small tablets and phones. “We wanted people to be able to quickly view the site during the festival so they can, say, easily pull up a map of the parade, or check out which vendor booths are signed up,” said Huffman.

The site covers all of the regular activities of the festival, including the parade, the carnival, the 5k Fun Run, the pancake breakfast, the live entertainment acts, the car show and, new this year, an officially judged barbecue competition. The site also features complete bios and galleries of all of the music acts performing on the main stage.

The 2014 Tour de Terrace is scheduled for July 25-27, with most activities taking place at the Evergreen Playfields in Mountlake Terrace.
