NEW: Two more winners in our Beatles trivia contest – and another chance to win tickets

Congratulations to Geni Fawcett and John Simon (both My Edmonds News readers), winners of two tickets in last week’s Beatles trivia contest. We also are pleased to announce that readers will have two chances to win tickets this week, with two new trivia questions.

The answer to last week’s question — How many members of the Beatles of the Beatles are left-handed? — is two: Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, though Ringo plays right-handed drums. Many people had the correct answers, so the winners were chosen at random. Each of our winners receives two tickets to to the musical retelling of the Beatles story – “In My Life” – at the Edmonds Center for the Arts at 7:30 p.m. June 4. All winners will have tickets waiting in their names at the ECA Box Office.

Twice each week during the month of May, you can test your Beatles trivia by answering the weekly question in the comment section below. Two correct answers will be drawn every Wednesday and Saturday to win a pair of tickets to the June 4 concert. The Wednesday winner will be announced Saturday. Good luck!

Here’s the new question:

On what Beatles recordings have the Beatles wives/ex-wives been on?

“In My Life” is the musical retelling of the Beatles story through the eyes of manager Brian Epstein and featuring the live music of renowned tribute band Abbey Road. The production – scheduled for June 4 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts – includes multimedia, period costumes and vintage instruments. As a special treat, Edmonds-Woodway High School students Elliot Harrison, Hannah Gorham, Madeleine Jeffers and Jonathan Mah will join the band for several songs.
