New four-way stop signs at 220th St. SW. and 58th Ave. W. to be operational on Wednesday

stopsignThe intersection of 220th St. SW and 58th Ave. W. is scheduled to be converted from a two-way stop to an all-way stop on Wednesday, July 29.

This change is being made now to get the community used to it prior to the new Brighton School opening in September. The signs will have a light on top similar to this photo.

Four “STOP” signs with flashing red lights will be added to the intersection. Stop bars will be added on 220th St. SW.

Four “Traffic Revision Ahead” signs will be added ahead of the intersection. The Traffic Revision Ahead signs have orange flags attached to them and will stay up for three to six months.

The Police Department will be monitoring the intersection more closely for compliance.
